Join us for a unique opportunity as we tour the Pojoaque Pueblo Bison Restoration Project in Pojoaque, 20 minutes north of Santa Fe. The Pueblo of Pojoaque Bison Restoration Project was started in 1994 by Ralph Viarrial with four bison on under three acres. The herd can now number up to 100 bison on 1000 acres. The project is currently helmed by Ralph’s nephew, Phil Viarrial, who will be our guide.
